Born on the 1st of October 1976 in South Lebanon, Diana Joseph El-Hadad, AKA Diana Hadad, was destined for a life of fame and fortune. Diana grew up in Kuwait as an ordinary little girl till it was obvious, at the age of 8, that she had many talents of her own that would eventually take her far! Her friends and teachers started encouraging her to take part in the school concerts and sing her heart out. After 14 years in Kuwat, it was time to go back to her homeland. Afterwards, Hadad decided to study computer programming in 1992 and managed to acquire a degree.
Diana's first song ever was Tayr Al-Yamama that was written and composed by Elias Abu Ghazali in Alam Al-Phan. The song managed to secure the star the fourth place. Her first album; Saken, was not released until 1996 but it was worth waiting for; it proved to be a big hit in the Arab world. This was the singer's first real step towards the glamorous world of show business. Her next album Ahl El-Eshk was released a while later in February, 1997. It was a success like the previous album and it was followed by the album Ammaneh which emerged in October. The same year. This album managed to top the charts for more than four successive months. That was not the end though; the star was just getting started and soon hit the markets with her dazzling Yammaya album. A year later, Shater saw the light. It was now obvious that a unique star had been born..
